About the EmpowHER Summer Internship ProgramThe EmpowHER Initiative is an 8-week intensive summer program in Washington, D.C. designed to support women who have already been offered a D.C. based internship. As an EmpowHER participant, you will get “access to customized professional and leadership development opportunities, field-specific mentors, career coaching, and invitations to a variety of networking and social events. And (perhaps most importantly), EmpowHER invites you into a lifelong network of supportive BA Women—the ultimate feminist girl gang.” The program costs roughly $8,000. However, program applicants are eligible to apply for an EmpowHER Scholarship, which is designed to offset the cost of EmpowHER tuition and summer living expenses. The B.A. Rudolph Foundation offers full and partial scholarships, as well as living stipends. |
