About the Saint Andrew’s Scholarship

One year of graduate study in Scotland for graduating seniors of Scottish descent.
If you are of Scottish descent and are interested in going to Scotland for one year of graduate study, consider applying to the St. Andrew’s Society scholarship program. The St. Andrew’s Society of New York has provided over 150 scholarships to promote cultural interchange and goodwill between Scotland and the United States since 1956; the Society brings Scottish graduate students to study in the US and Scottish-American students to study in Scotland.

Special Location of award, if applicable: Scotland

Eligible applicants:

-are US citizens with some Scottish descent
-are senior undergraduate students who plan for a May graduation
-will be able to identify and apply for an appropriate graduate program in Scotland
-must reside or attend school within 250 miles of New York State
